PURPOSE
Texas Freedom Network (TFN) is a statewide watchdog and advocacy organization fighting to protect public education, religious freedom, and individual liberties in Texas. Known for exposing extremism and defending fact-based curriculum, TFN plays a critical role in keeping public education free from political and religious interference. It works at the intersection of policy, advocacy, and grassroots organizing to advance a vision of inclusive, equitable public schools for all students. Through sharp messaging and coalition-building, TFN uplifts science, history, and civil rights in classrooms.

OUTREACH
TFN’s supporters include parents, educators, faith leaders, students, and activists from across the political spectrum who believe in the separation of church and state and the importance of truth in education. Many are active in curriculum debates, school board elections, and statewide advocacy efforts for inclusive policy.

Protecting Curriculum Integrity

TFN monitors the Texas State Board of Education and legislative proposals to ensure that public school curricula remain grounded in science, accurate history, and inclusive representation. The group fights against censorship efforts that seek to whitewash history or ban books.

Opposing Politicized Attacks on Public Education

TFN confronts coordinated campaigns to insert partisan or religious agendas into public schools. It supports school board candidates who prioritize student success over political theater and mobilizes the public to push back against harmful legislation.

Defending Public Funding for Public Schools

TFN strongly opposes private school vouchers and other efforts to divert tax dollars from public classrooms. They advocate for fair, needs-based funding that supports all students regardless of ZIP code or background.
